**Holi Cincy: Celebrating the Colors of Spring**
Join us for Holi Cincy, a vibrant outdoor celebration inspired by Holi — the South Asian Festival of Colors — marking the arrival of spring and the spirit of renewal, joy, and community.

Hosted by et&al in collaboration with Braxton Brewing and Factory 52, this free, all-ages event transforms the beautiful outdoor greenspace at Factory 52 into a colorful gathering filled with music, movement, culture, and connection.

Holi is traditionally celebrated by throwing bright colored powders in the air, dancing, sharing food, and welcoming a new season together. At Holi Cincy, we’re bringing that spirit to Cincinnati in a way that is inclusive, energetic, and rooted in community.

Holi Cincy: Celebrating the Colors of Spring

Join us for Holi Cincy, a vibrant outdoor celebration inspired by Holi — the South Asian Festival of Colors — marking the arrival of spring and the spirit of renewal, joy, and community.

Our goal is to prepare 300 sandwiches for the women at the shelter, and we will also be providing cookies, fruits, and dumplings.

Volunteers will sign up to be responsible for providing specific sandwich ingredients, such as meat, bread, lettuce, and cheese. We are also looking for volunteers to sign up to bring cookies and dumplings.

Following the dinner, our youth ensemble will perform a concert for the residents.

Volunteer to make dinner for the women's shelter on March 21.

Join Chef Yukiko Ryburn in Wilks Studio ahead of the performance for a hands-on 1-hour cooking class creating your own Totoro onigiri! 

The Studio Ghibli Onigiri Making Class will include materials to assemble your own Totoro onigiri and instruction from Chef Yukiko Ryburn. A variety of side dishes and complimentary water and soda will be provided. The class itself will last for 1 hour and will be held in Wilks Studio at Music Hall. Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Allergy/dietary information: The Totoro onigiri includes sesame seeds, cheese and wheat. No nuts or eggs are used, and the onigiri is vegetarian.

Just as iconic as the films themselves, the music of Ghibli evokes wonder, nostalgia and adventure, perfect for anime fans and music lovers both young and young at heart.

Cincinnati's Asian Food Fest will return to Court Street Plaza on April 25-26 for its 15th year!

The event, which the Cincinnati Regional Chamber produces in partnership with Asianati, attracted an estimated more than 125,000 attendees over two days in 2025. Asian Food Fest continues to be one of the Cincinnati region’s fastest-growing events.
